ChitChat is a student-run magazine dedicated to the promotion and appreciation of Chinese culture in the greater New York Area. Centered around events, holidays, and local everyday life, ChitChat works are available in both Chinese and English. While targeted for students grades K-12, our magazine is appropriate for people of all ages.
Our Story
Everyone has a voice; but if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

ChitChat strives to provide youth with a creative platform to express and expose themselves to an audience. While we mainly promote cross-cultural exchange between China and the United States, our submissions welcome youth, ages ranging from 5-18, from all races, genders, ethnicities, and stories.
