How My Life Changed in Quarantine

Due to the recent pandemic, my life has changed a lot.
I cannot go to school because of quarantine. Usually, going to school takes up most of my day. Since I don’t have to go to school now, I have a lot more time on my hands. Although it’s true that I don’t have school in the summer, unlike now, I have to go to summer camps.
I haven’t wasted all of this extra time. Now, I have the time to play, to read the books that I could not get to before, and to learn about new things.
Recently, I spent a lot more time playing outside. When the weather is good, I usually play basketball, bike, or go for a jog. There are also many fun games to play at home. A lot of times, I will play cards or chess with my sister, and we have a great time!
I also used this time to read many new books. Right now, I am reading A Tale of Two Cities. This novel is set during the French Revolution, and I find it very interesting and insightful.
Furthermore, I spent my time studying. I have had the chance to focus on subjects that I did not understand before, like history and science. Recently, I also learned a little bit about Greek etymology and physics, which I find fascinating.
I think the extra time we have now gives us the opportunity to learn new things, read books, and rest well. Don’t waste it!
