My Virtual Learning Experience

Because more and more people are getting Covid in the US, our school closed, so we have to take virtual classes. I am going to introduce how virtual learning, something I could never have imagined before, works at my school.
Naturally, there are many differences between attending school online and going in person. At school, every teacher at my school will teach their students different things. However, online, the curriculum is standardized. Every day, my teacher posts an agenda online with the contents that we will be learning. We follow the tasks and times written on the agenda. If we have any questions, we can ask our teacher through Google Classroom. In school, the teacher will read books aloud to us. Now, she records herself reading books at home before posting the videos into Google Classroom.
Our school day has also shortened, and it only takes up half of a day. School starts at 9:30, but I typically get up at 8:10 so that I can practice violin for half an hour before class starts. If my parents are in a meeting, I will go to Google Classroom to see our assignments for the day, and start doing them early. In virtual learning, we start by reading a book. We have to take notes and write reflections as we read. Next, we have writing class. We usually write our essays on Google Docs or on paper. After finishing, we submit our writing to the teacher. After writing class, we have math class, where our teacher has us play math-related games. We also have different extracurricular classes every day, including PE, Art, Spanish, Music, and many more. At the end of the school day, we fill out a sign-out form to tell our teacher about our favorite class that day.
There are things I like about virtual learning, but there are also many things that I dislike. I like how I can watch TV or play games after class, because I could only do that on the weekends before virtual learning. However, I dislike online classes because staring at the computer for so long is bad for my eyes.
