US Open Tennis Tournament

On September 3, I went to New York to watch the US Open with my parents. The first game was a women's singles and the second was a men's singles, and they were all quarterfinals. The women's singles tennis players were Serena Williams and Wang Hao, and the men's singles were Dimitrov and Federer.

I didn't think the first game was too intense. Serena Williams' advantage was obvious. It was easy for her to win two matches. The game scores were 6 to 1 and 6 to 0 respectively. The whole game ended in just 45 minutes. At that time, the screen showed that that was the victory of the 100th US Open held by Williams! Go, Serena!

After the intermission, it was time for the second match between Dimitrov and Federer. That game was so intense! I was very focused on watching, the game was really close, if you don’t believe me, take a look at the score: 3 to 6, 6 to 4, 3 to 6, 6 to 4, 6 to 2. Federer is a very strong player, but in the end, Dimitrov won the game. It was so unfortunate! Federer's back was hurt, but he still persisted, and despite the loss, I still admire him.

It truly was: “Don’t laugh if we lay drunk on the battlefield. How many warriors ever come back safe and sound from the battlefield?”

That game went on for more than three hours. At the end of the game, it was already 12:00 A.M, September 4th, which happened to be my birthday, so I took a photo under the outside clock. Then we walked out of the arena, crossed the boardwalk to the parking lot, and drove home.
